Circus Performer Injured in Fall

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) _ A high-wire motorcyclist working on props in his act at the Shrine Circus fell at least 60 feet, breaking bones in his feet.

Henry Lemoine 25, of Roanoke, Va., fell from the high wire Sunday night about an hour after a performance at the Ohio State Fairgrounds, the State Highway Patrol said.

The accident remained under investigation and further details were not immediately available, the patrol said today.

Lemoine was listed in fair condition today at Ohio State University Hospital. He fractured his foot bones but escaped serious injury, hospital spokesman Greg Denison said.
