Hoey, Milano Team Up to Boost Pelham
HOLLIS, N.H. -- Ian Hoey threw five touchdown passes, four of which were hauled in by Nick Milano, as Pelham defeated Hollis-Brookline, 43-14, in a New Hampshire Division 2 football game.
Hoey and Milano hooked up on long range scoring passes of 40, 60, 62 and 56 yards in the first half as the Pythons built a commanding 30-0 halftime lead.
Hoey finished his big day with seven completions for 250 yards and five total touchdown passes. His fifth scoring pass was a 10 yard strike to Matt Crowley. Hoey also scored a TD on a 1 yard run.
All four of Milano’s receptions went for TDs while finishing with 218 yards receiving.
“I thought the kids played a tremendous game,” said Pelham coach Tom Babaian. “We played a full 48-minute game. We can build upon this win.”.
Charlie Katin scored Pelham’s first touchdown on a 51 yard run. Katin finished with 63 yards rushing on four carries.
Brett Lindsay paced the Pythons’ ground game with 125 yards rushing on 20 carries.
Pelham improved to 3-2. The Pythons have won three of their last four games. Pelham’s defense recorded 5 sacks and one interception.
Ethan Clark caught a 38-yard touchdown pass from Luke Lentine and ripped off a 50-yard run for a score while lifting Westboro past Groton-Dunstable in a Midland-Wachusett League B Division game.
G-D is now 0-4, while Westboro is 1-3.

Anthony Caggianelli ran for three touchdowns while leading Central Catholic past Andover, the Raiders former long-time Thanksgiving rival.
Caggianelli’s TDs came on runs of 65, 11 and 52 yards.
Central Catholic is 2-2 overall and 1-0 in MVC Division 1. Andover is 1-2 and 0-1.
Central Catholic will host Lowell Friday at 7.
