Kingman woman arrested on felony drug charges
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies were on patrol in Mohave Valley Sunday, when they allegedly observed a vehicle driving erratically.
Deputies stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver, and identified one of the vehicle’s passengers as 31-year-old Kingman resident Ashley Carlill, the report said. There was an active warrant for Carlill’s arrest, according to deputies, and she was detained at the scene.
A search of a backpack in Carlill’s possession allegedly yielded 0.7 grams of methamphetamine and a syringe. Carlill was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The vehicle’s driver was issued a citation for a traffic offense and released from the scene.
