Connecticut home sales rise in July
Connecticut sales of single-family homes jumped 7 percent in July on a year-over-year basis, according to the Warren Group, with the price of the median home sold up 4.1 percent from its equivalent a year ago.
The Boston-based Warren Group counted more than 3,940 home sales statewide in July, pushing total transactions for the year above 19,500 for a 0.3 percent increase.
Condo sales were up 5 percent in July to 930 transactions, with the median price escalating 3.7 percent.
