SINGAPORE (AP) — U.S. and North Korean officials are set to meet in Singapore to make final preparations for the summit between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders says the U.S. ambassador to the Philippines will hold a working group with a North Korean delegation at 10 a.m. Monday local time, or 10 p.m. Sunday on the U.S. East Coast. Sanders says Trump spent the flight to Singapore preparing for the summit with Kim.

SINGAPORE (AP) — Embarking on a self-described “mission of peace,” President Donald Trump’s seat-of-the-pants foreign policy is facing its toughest test yet. Trump will attempt to personally broker an end to North Korea’s nuclear program in talks with Kim Jong Un. Trump landed in Singapore on Sunday evening, about four hours after Kim arrived in the island city-state. The two are scheduled to meet for the first time Tuesday morning.

PYONGYANG, North Korea (AP) — As North Korean leader Kim Jong Un prepares to meet with President Donald Trump in Singapore, the majority of North Koreans likely have no idea of the historic summit that’s about to take place. The official media has reported that the two leaders will meet but with few details, including where and when. With few sources of information other than state-run media, gossip and word of mouth, most North Koreans remain largely in the dark about the potentially life-changing event.

HAVANA (AP) — Cuba has released details on the latest mysterious health incident involving a U.S. diplomat in the country, saying that Cuban officials learned of the episode late last month when the U.S. said that an embassy official felt ill after hearing ‘undefined sounds’ in her home in Havana.

LA MALBAIE, Quebec (AP) — The White House is escalating its verbal attacks against Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of close American ally Canada. President Donald Trump’s trade adviser says: “There’s a special place in hell for any foreign leader that engages in bad faith diplomacy with President Donald J. Trump and then tries to stab him in the back on the way out the door.” That’s what Peter Navarro says Trudeau did to Trump at the end of the Group of Seven nations meeting in Canada over the weekend.
