April 20, 2017

MORRISTOWN, N.J. (AP) — Police have charged a New Jersey man who they say failed to mention dropping a baby but later posted about it on Facebook.

The Daily Record of Parsippany reports (http://dailyre.co/2opFkT9 ) 25-year-old Brendon Miller, of Jefferson, was charged with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child on Wednesday. Police say the child was injured on Feb. 16.

The child was treated for bleeding on the brain at Morristown Medical Center and later released.

Miller’s relationship to the child is not known and police have not released the child’s gender.

Authorities say Miller did not report dropping the baby when he was interviewed by police, but posted about dropping the child on Facebook almost two weeks later.

It’s not known if Miller has a lawyer.
