SUWANEE, Ga. (AP) _ The Atlanta Falcons reached preliminary agreement Thursday with top draft pick Lincoln Kennedy, their last rookie to come to terms.

The offensive guard, ninth player chosen in the NFL draft, agreed in principle to a three-year deal, the team said. Negotiations are expected to be concluded Friday.

Because of a wrist injury, the former University of Washington star will have to be cleared by team doctors before taking part in workouts.
