Holy Cross 83, Lehigh 81
BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) _ Rob Feaster scored 42 points and grabbed five rebounds Saturday to lead Holy Cross to an 83-81 Patriot League victory over Lehigh.
Feaster shot 13-for-23 from the field and 14-of-18 from the foul line. It was the fourth time in his career that Feaster has scored more than 40 points.
Lehigh (10-14, 5-8) led 38-37 at halftime but Holy Cross (13-11, 8-5) put together a 14-2 run at the start of the second half to take the lead for good.
Lehigh got as close as 79-77 late in the second half, led by Rashawne Glenn, who finished with 24 points, and Misha Sidorov, who connected on three 3-pointers for 11. But Holy Cross made its next four free throws to put the lead back to six with only 38 seconds remaining.
Jason Fichter was Lehigh’s second leading scorer, finishing with 23 points to go along with 14 rebounds.
Lehigh took 41 foul shots while Holy Cross took 36. Six players fouled out of the game: Gordon Hamilton, Pat Tutwiler, Damon Hart and Keith Driscoll for Holy Cross; and Diallo Daniels and Maurice Hallett for Lehigh.
