Disabled man requests assistance to find housing
A 41-year-old homeless man says he is unable to work because of physical disability and has medical issues with liver disease and diabetes.
He says he receives $750 a month in Social Security benefits and has had difficulty finding housing.
He is asking for help getting into a studio apartment, as well as assistance paying for car repairs and his cellphone.
The applicant is among hundreds of people seeking help from the Empty Stocking Fund this season.
