Imaginative toy workshop coming to Beatrice pharmacy

August 10, 2018

Children are invited to the first ever Toy Tinkerer Experience at Deines Pharmacy, 910 Court St. in Beatrice, on Monday, Aug. 13.

The new event encourages kids to “use their imagination to combine pieces from four different toys to create something new,” according to a press release.

There are two sessions - one at 10 a.m. and another at 5:30 p.m.

All participants will receive a take-home activity and 30 percent off any Melissa & Doug purchase on that day. Parents will also receive a guide on how to be an “Imagination Coach,” the release reads.

Space is limited, so the public is invited to RSVP for either the 10 a.m. session or the 5:30 p.m. session. One can check the event posting on Facebook to reserve a spot or email Danielle.Deines@Deinespharmacy.com.

The mission of Melissa & Doug, an American manufacturer and children’s toy purveyor, is to “provide a launch pad to invite imagination and a sense of wonder in all children so they can themselves, their passions and their purpose.”
