ROSEMEAD, Calif. (AP) _ Sheriff's deputies searched Tuesday for a man who allegedly shot and killed four people, wounded two others, then kidnapped his ex-girlfriend before freeing her hours later.

Killed in Monday night's shooting spree were 37-year-old Oscar and 14-year-old Andy Pacheco; Aristides Alvarado, 48; and Victor Lopez, 42. The relationship among the victims was not immediately known.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies were looking for Evelio Rivera Zacarias, 42, and an accomplice who drove him from the shooting scene, said Deputy Steve Flamm.

Zacarias' ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend were visiting with the man's relatives when the suspect walked in shooting, said Deputy Carrie Stuart. The current boyfriend was killed.

Zacarias fled with his ex-girlfriend, but he released her early Tuesday, Stuart said. Authorities did not release the woman's name.

A 37-year-old woman was in fair condition with a gunshot wound to the right thigh and a 17-year-old boy was in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the face.
