Mexico rolls past Ivory Coast 4-1 in friendly

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (AP) — Oribe Peralta scored two first-half goals, leading Mexico to an easy 4-1 victory over Ivory Coast in an international friendly on Wednesday.

Mexico went ahead via an own goal in the 10th minute before Peralta scored in the 28th minute and again in the 45th.

Didier Drogba converted a penalty in the 61st to pull a goal back for Ivory Coast but Mexico remained in control and Angel Reyna capped the scoring with a goal in the 90th minute.
