Longmont Police Notes: Internet Install and a Dog Bite

A Longmont man was bitten Thursday by a dog while providing internet service at the home. The dog has been placed on home quarantine.

Longmont officers responded Thursday to the 1600 block of Main Street in reference to a report of domestic violence. A 27-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence related charges. The case was cleared by arrest.

At about 11:35 p.m. Thursday , Longmont police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Lincoln Street on a report of a family disturbance. The case is closed.

Longmont officers conducted a traffic stop Thursday in the 300 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. A man was booked and released for driving under the influence.

A juvenile male called a girl in school a derogatory word which hurt her feelings and the school involved the school resource officer in the case. The parents and the victim were talked to about this case, and declined to prosecute. The case was cleared with a warning.

At about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday , Longmont officers responded to the area of 11th Avenue and Hover Street on a menacing. The case is closed.
