XC trio named academic all-state

La Porte’s Rachel Gerick and Shelby Riehle, and Marquette’s Isaac Lembcke have earned first-team academic all-state recognition from the Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches. Nominees had to be on their team’s tournament roster, carry a grade point average of at least 3.5 and score a minimum of 1200 on their SAT or 26 on their ACT.
