Dave Boyer The Washington TimesMay 21, 2019

Johnny DeStefano, one of President Trump’s top advisers who has been with him since the start of the administration, is leaving the White House on Friday, The Washington Post reported.

Mr. DeStefano, a low-key aide who was an important part of the White House’s political strategy and relations with Congress, is expected to advise several companies including Juul, the e-cigarette firm.

He was a former aide to House Speaker John A. Boehner, Ohio Republican, and navigated internal political duels in the West Wing while serving as one of the president’s most trusted advisers.
