CLEVELAND (AP) _ Eva Nemcova had 15 points and a career-high nine assists as the Cleveland Rockers defeated the Los Angeles Sparks 83-67 in the WNBA on Monday night.

The win was the Rockers' third in a row and moved them into second place in the Eastern Conference of the WNBA.

The Rockers led 36-26 at halftime and by as many as 21 late in the game.

Isabelle Fijalkowski added 14 points and a game-high nine rebounds while Merlakia Jones had 12 points and Rushia Brown had 10 for Cleveland.

Lisa Leslie, the WNBA's third leading scorer, returned to the Sparks' lineup after missing the last two games with a strained knee, wrist and groin. She got into early foul trouble when she picked up her third 5:22 into the game, forcing her to be benched for the remainder of the first half.

Leslie finished the game with 12 points, including 10 in the second half. Mwadi Mabika led the Sparks with 16 points and eight rebounds.
