Longmont police on Oct. 29 investigate a body found in Kensington Park. The Boulder County Coroner's Office on Wednesday identified the man found as 40-year-old Glenn Tefft.

The Boulder County Coroner’s Office on Wednesday released the name of the man found dead near Kensington Park on Oct. 29.

Glenn Tefft, 40, was discovered in a tent on the property near Rothrock Place and Martin Street, Longmont police said. A news release from the coroner’s office said Tefft was from Longmont.

Longmont police Cmdr. Joel Post said that while Tefft had addresses in Longmont over the past several years, it appears he was homeless at the time of his death.

An autopsy has been completed, but the cause and manner of death are pending further investigation, the coroner said. At this time Tefft’s death doesn’t appear suspicious, Post said, but police are still awaiting the final determination from the coroner.
