INDIO, Calif. (AP) _ Hector Camacho Jr. improved to 32-0 on Sunday, stopping Larry Lacoursiere in the second round of their welterweight fight at the Santa Fe Springs Casino.

Camacho's hard right at 35 seconds of the round sent Lacoursiere down face-first. He was unconscious for 10 minutes and needed another five minutes before he could get to his feet.

Camacho, the son of former champion Hector Camacho, is the top-ranked challenger in WBA's super lightweight division. He has 17 knockouts. Lacoursiere is 26-9-1.

On the undercard, Mexico's Ernesto Cepeda stopped Justin Juuko in the fifth round of a featherweight bout. Cepeda was a late substitute for Steve Forbes, who was scheduled to face Juuko for the IBF super featherweight title. Cepeda is 27-5-2 with 21 knockouts. Juuko is 35-5-1.
