PORT ANGELES, Wash. (AP) — A man who police say drove through the wall of a Sequim gun store to steal dozens of weapons in April has been arrested and had bail set at $350,000.

The Peninsula Daily News reports 38-year-old Joey Maillet has been lodged at Clallam County jail for investigation of burglary, 26 counts of theft of a firearm, theft of a motor vehicle and malicious mischief.

Federal agents say they are investigating whether Maillet is linked to another vehicle-involved gun store burglary in Skagit County.

Maillet was arrested Monday at the Snohomish County jail, where he had been booked on a burglary case unrelated to the Sequim burglary.

The stolen guns have not been found.

Clallam Public Defender Harry Gasnick said if Maillet is released he would stay at shelter for people experiencing homelessness.
