Checkpoint set for Friday in Gallia County
GALLIPOLIS, Ohio - The Ohio State Highway Patrol will hold a drunk driving checkpoint somewhere in Gallia County on Friday night, May 3, according to a news release.
“Based on provisional data, there were 369 OVI-related fatal crashes in which 404 people were killed last year in Ohio,” said Lt. B.L. Call, commander of the Gallipolis Patrol Post.
The location of the checkpoint will be announced Friday morning.
