The 11th annual Aiken Senior Extravaganza will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the H. Odell Weeks Activities Center, 1700 Whiskey Road.

The Wise Outrageous Women will meet at noon today at the Aiken County Historical Museum, 433 Newberry St. S.W. Joyce Duncanson will give a scarf demonstration. The Off the Hook Crochet Group will meet from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Aiken County Public Library, 314 Chesterfield St. S.W. The group is open to anyone interested in crochet. A trail walk will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Silver Bluff Audubon Center and Sanctuary, 4542 Silver Bluff Road, Jackson. The event will feature nature stations, live owl demonstrations, a microscope table, a coloring book station and a special appearance by Burner Bob.
