Marseilles areas will close for military training
MARSEILLES, Ill. (AP) — Illinois officials say parts of a LaSalle County recreational area will be closed periodically in October and November to allow for military training.
The Department of Natural Resources is alerting hunters to the closings of parts of the Marseilles (mahr-SAYLZ’) State Fish and Wildlife Area.
The shutdowns include Area B on Oct. 7, 8, 10, and 24 and Nov. 14; Areas A and C will be closed on Oct. 14, 15, 16 and 17 and Nov. 18.
The Marseilles plot is a joint-use area for the Department of Natural Resources and the Illinois Department of Military Affairs. Either agency may use the whole site when necessary.
