Powerful Tools for Caregivers workshop begins May 15

May 7, 2019

POCATELLO - Powerful Tools for Caregivers is an educational program designed to help family caregivers take care of themselves while caring for a relative or friend. You will benefit from this class whether you are helping a parent, spouse, friend, someone who lives at home, in a nursing home or across the country. Come learn strategies to reduce stress, communicate well and navigate family dynamics while making tough decisions at a free, six-part workshop for family caregivers.

Build confidence in your decisions as you learn effective problem-solving skills and connect with helpful resources. Learn to give yourself credit, not guilt. You don’t have to do it alone.

This class series is a free six-week course that meets once a week. Classes are on Wednesdays, May 15 - June 19 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Workshops will be held at Area V Agency on Aging at SICOG 214 E Center St. Pocatello, ID 83204.

Class size is limited and registration is required.
