Georgia peach truck soon to sell peaches around S.A.
San Antonio has been a frequent pop-up destination for Hello Kitty and Amazon Treasure trucks, but on June 5, it’s all about the peaches. Nashville-based The Peach Truck announced on social media that it will go on a whirlwind, six-stop tour throughout the area with two trucks that day, selling freshly picked Georgia peaches.
Peaches will be sold right off the truck in 25-pound boxes priced at $42 each, with no pre-ordering. All sales are cashless to keep the lines moving quickly since each stop is for one hour only, so bring the your credit or debit card.
The Peach Truck has been featured by noted food publications such as Food & Wine, Southern Living and epicurious. This will be its debut Texas tour, and San Antonio is one of six single-day stops before the peach parade heads east to Florida.
Here’s the San Antonio-area tour schedule:
9-10 a.m.: at the San Antonio Event Center, 8111 Meadow Leaf Drive
10-11 a.m.: at Rainbow Gardens, 2585 Thousand Oaks
