Lt. Coulter, a criminal justice major with a history minor, held the rank of midshipman in the NROTC prior to graduation. He was the recipient of the Capt. Richard D. Porrello Leadership Award for Professional and Academic Excellence NROTC, and the Lt Joseph C. Zemaitis Leadership Award for Outstanding Dedication to the NROTC program.

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Elianna J. Kovalchek graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Kovalchek is the wife of Benjamin J. Purcen of Fortwalton Beach, Fla. She is a 2017 graduate of a home school program in Hanscom Air Force Base.
