Stackhouse Has Ligament Strain; Will Miss Atlanta Game
PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ Philadelphia rookie Jerry Stackhouse will miss at least one game because of a strained ligament in his right thumb.
The injury occurred late in Friday night’s 108-87 loss to Detroit.
Stackhouse was scheduled to undergo a stress test Saturday and would not travel to Atlanta for Saturday night’s game against the Hawks.
Stackhouse was NBA rookie of the month for March with an average of 22.3 points, 4.5 assists and 4.1 rebounds. He also averaged 1.3 blocks and 1.2 steals in 15 games during March.
