Ligonier man charged with possession of child porn
A Ligonier man has been charged with possession of child pornography, Indiana State Police said today.
Robert Paul Taylor, 25, was arrested in his home after a search warrant was served at 8:15 a.m. today, state police at Fort Wayne said in a statement.
It said police began investigating Taylor at the end of July, when the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Taylor was charged with one count of possession of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography with victims younger than 12, the statement said.
It said Taylor was being held in the Noble County Jail.
The task force was assisted by the county sheriff’s department, Ligonier and Fort Wayne police and the county prosecutor’s office.
