Wilkes-Barre Man Indicted On Federal Drug Charges

SCRANTON — A Wilkes-Barre man has been indicted on federal drug-trafficking charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Jarrett Edmonds, 36, is charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, fentanyl, and crack cocaine, prosecutors said. The charges allege Edmonds — who is also known as Lollipop and Dollar — possessed the drugs in Luzerne County on July 7, 2017. If convicted, Edmonds faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. — JAMES HALPIN
