2 women rob Kennebunk seafood market
KENNEBUNK, Maine (AP) — Kennebunk police are searching for two women they say robbed a seafood market.
Lt. Anthony Bean Burpee says the women entered Herb’s Seafood at about 4:45 p.m. Sunday and demanded cash from the employees.
The women fled in an older-model, black Toyota pickup truck that was last season heading north on U.S. Route 1.
It’s not clear how much money they made off with.
Police tell the Portland Press Herald (http://bit.ly/1cgVALL) one was woman is described as being in her 20s, heavyset, and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath a black coat. Her accomplice is also in her 20s with a thin build, and has a scar near the right side of her mouth. She was wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt underneath a black coat. Both were wearing jeans.
