August 7, 2018

SIOUX CITY -- A public screening of the documentary film, “Trauma,” is being held from 6 - 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Orpheum Theatre, 528 Pierce St.

Following the daily lives of a UH-60 Black Hawk medevac platoon, “Trauma” depicted their heroics and struggles during their service as their transition to civilian life years later.

“The film gives the audience an authentic and relentless first-person experience of the medics’ mission -- a high-powered mix of adrenaline, dust and heroism,” said “Trauma” producer Ryan Cunningham.

This free event is a cooperative partnership between the Sioux City Orpheum Theatre, Support Siouxland Soldiers, Film Producer The Colony, as well as local veteran service organizations.
