HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP Paolini leads St. Joseph over Kolbe

STAMFORD — Steve Paolini had 19 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two blocks to lead St. Joseph over Kolbe Cathedral, 73-64, in a non-league boys basketball game Saturday evening at Trinity Catholic.

Jared Grinrod added 15 points and eight rebounds and Jason James scored 12 points in the season-opener for the Cadets (1-0). Taeshaun Sanchez scored 15 points to lead three players in double figure scoring for the Cougars (0-1).
