NASHUA, N.H. (AP) — Officials in Nashua have closed off a city street due to a sinkhole.

WMUR-TV reports a sinkhole opened on Main Street between Lake and Belmont streets Monday night. The Nashua Fire Department says the hole is about 5 feet deep and 5 feet wide.

Officials say a van that was stuck in the hole has been moved.

Public works officials are working to stabilize the street.
