TOKYO (AP) — Elsinho scored in the first half as Kawasaki Frontale earned a 1-1 draw with Kashima Antlers on Saturday to maintain its unbeaten start to the J-League season.

Caio took advantage of a defensive mistake by Shogo Taniguchi to put Kashima in front at 27 minutes before Elsinho leveled shortly before halftime.

Kawasaki improved to 11 points, one behind leaders Urawa, which beat 10-man Ventforet Kofu 2-0 on Friday. Kashima has 10 points.

In other games, Tatsuya Tanaka's first-half goal gave Albirex Niigata a 1-0 win over winless Avispa Fukuoka while Yuki Otsu's late equalizer earned Kashiwa Reysol a 1-1 draw with Sagan Tosu.

Masato Morishige scored twice as FC Tokyo beat Nagoya Grampus 3-2 and Leandro's 34th-minute goal secured a 2-1 win for Vissel Kobe over Shonan Bellmare.

Curacao winger Martinus scored in his debut to give Yokohama F Marinos a 2-1 win over Gamba Osaka. Omiya Ardija and Jubilo Iwata finished 1-1.
