PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) _ Lucienne Berthieu had 20 points and 10 rebounds, and No. 21 Old Dominion used a 16-0 run in the second half to ease by Rutgers 70-48 Friday night for its seventh straight victory.

Old Dominion (14-5) rode the run to a 31-16 lead early in the second half. The Lady Monarchs held Rutgers (7-13) without a field goal for 13 minutes while breaking the game open.

Berthieu had nine points in the first half and continued to do damage in the final 20 minutes. She scored 10 of the Lady Monarchs’ points as they built a 26-point advantage.

Rutgers made one 13-3 run to close within 16 points.

Hamchetou Maiga and Monique Coker had 10 points apiece for the Lady Monarchs. Old Dominion had a 52-21 rebounding edge, including Maiga’s 11.

Mauri Horton had 15 points and Dawn McCullouch 14 for Rutgers.
