BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — Police say a woman's body was found in a pond in Boulder after her family had reported her missing.

The Daily Camera reports the Boulder Fire-Rescue Dive Team found the body Monday afternoon in East Boulder Pond.

The woman was pronounced dead at a hospital.

A family member had reported the woman missing after she failed to show up for an appointment. The family member told police that the woman had planned to go fishing in the pond.

Police say officers found a partially submerged fishing pole and a chair. Police do not suspect foul play.

The Boulder County Coroner's Office will release the woman's name after family confirms her identity.
