GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) _ Maceo Bolin threw for 86 yards as North Carolina A&T scored on a pass, a run and a punt return to beat Winston-Salem State 21-7 Saturday.

David Russell put the Aggies (2-0) up 7-0 in the first quarter when he threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to James Lancaster. That score held up until halftime.

In the third quarter, Barry Turner scored on a 3-yard run to put N.C. A&T up 14-0. But just over two minutes later, Winston-Salem quarterback Rovell McMillan hit Oronde Gadeson on a 53-yard scoring play to pull the Rams (1-1) within 14-7.

Both offenses faltered in the fourth quarter, but Dion Caldwell broke free on a punt return for a 47-yard touchdown and the final margin.

Bolin hit 6 of 8 pass attempts with one interception. McMillan finished with 98 yards, hitting 5 of 14 with two interceptions.
