Constellium: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
SCHIPHOL-RIJK, Netherlands (AP) _ Constellium NV (CSTM) on Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of $18 million.
On a per-share basis, the Schiphol-Rijk, Netherlands-based company said it had profit of 12 cents. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs, came to 13 cents per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 33 cents per share.
The aluminum company posted revenue of $1.73 billion in the period, which also did not meet Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.75 billion.
Constellium shares have risen 49% since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 6% in the last 12 months.
