The percentage of TSA airport screeners missing work has hit 10 percent as the partial government shutdown stretches into its fifth week. _ WOMAN STUCK IN RIVER _ Authorities say a woman was stranded for two days in an amphibious all-terrain vehicle in an East Texas river after it got stuck and her 79-year-old husband died after being swept away.

_ DAY CARE-HAIR PULLED _ The owners of a Texas day care say staff members have been fired after a video circulated on social media showing a person pulling a child’s hair at the facility.
