Ruth Cleeremans -- Rochester

Ruth Cleeremans, age 91, died on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at her Charter House residence after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Her family was by her side.

She was born Ruth Bradley, in Antigo, Wis. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin — Madison, then began a career in Medical Technology. She married Richard “RW” Cleeremans and lived in Rochester her entire life.

She is survived by four children, Catherine, Bruce, and Mark Cleeremans and Margaret Hamamoto; four grandchildren, Andy, Carly, Lucy and Kate; and a great-grandson, Noah.

She was heavily involved with her children and their activities. She volunteered in annual AAU swim competitions in Rochester and surrounding states. She became involved in competitive duplicate bridge earning 91,000 life masters points.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Paul; and her beloved cat.

A private family memorial will be held in the near future. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s society or Mayo foundation Alzheimer’s research.
