Ducey appoints leader of Department of Juvenile Corrections
PHOENIX (AP) — Gov. Doug Ducey has appointed Jeff Hood to serve as the director of the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections.
Hood has served as the agency’s interim director since September 2016, when he replaced Dona Marie Markley.
The appointment of Hood on a more long-term basis was announced Tuesday by the governor’s office.
Hood’s prior work experience includes 30 years at the Arizona Department of Corrections.
