P. Morgan: Considerations for mass transit
Editor: In response to Ted Martin’s recent letter to the editor: Apparently Mr Martin is able to drive where ever he choose, when ever he chooses. Not all of Havasu’s citizens are able to do so. Some taxpayers have vision problems and need transportation. Local transit is not the only issue.
Transportation out of town or to another location doesn’t exist. Only individuals wishing to go to Las Vegas or Laughlin. Why not consider local transportation with a less-than-daily schedule and ability to travel to a location out of town? Possibly a smaller vehicle that could accommodate several people instead of a bus. Appointments could be made according to the transportation schedule. Havasu needs to accommodate its citizens that are unable to drive.
