Second work release inmate fails to return to Dodge County Jail
JUNEAU — The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a work-release inmate who failed to return to the jail as required after a shift at work.
Jennifer P. Petersen, 39, Beaver Dam, has active arrest warrants through Dodge County and the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Her last known address is in Portage.
Petersen was serving a 270-day Huber sentence at the Dodge County Jail for theft-false representation and was scheduled for release April 11.
Petersen is the second inmate currently being sought for escape.
Connie L. Smiley, 36, has an active arrest warrant through Dodge County after not returning to the jail Jan. 30 following an appointment in Juneau. Smiley was serving a 160-day Huber sentence at the Dodge County Jail for contempt of court.
The sheriff’s office asks for the assistance of the public in providing information to assist in apprehending Petersen or Smiley. Anyone with any information can contact Dodge County Sheriff’s Office at 920-386-3726.
