Elkhorn Valley Museum now offering Museum Junior Storytelling

October 11, 2018

NORFOLK - The Elkhorn Valley Museum is inviting kids to come to the museum Wednesday to take part in Museum Junior Storytelling.

Executive Director Jo Beth Cox says the storytelling takes place every Wednesday at the museum.

Cox says it’s a free event with lots going on for the kids to enjoy.

“We have a lively reading of a story that reinforces historical people, places, ideas, and objects. Each session includes a make and take craft for the kids to do and then a snack.”

Cox says they also invite groups of kids from different organizations to take part, she just says to call in advance so they have enough supplies for each kid.

She says they meet in the newly updated Lueshen Bird Library from 10:30 to 11:15.
