DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, BULLHEAD CITY — Christopher Tylor Wiese, 26, was arrested Oct. 23 after being contacted by officers at Malibu Drive and Bermuda Drive. He reportedly had a marijuana pipe in his jacket pocket. Wiese was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and released.
WARRANT ARREST, BULLHEAD CITY — Jonathan Robert Smith, 39, was arrested Oct. 29 in the 1300 block of Zircon Avenue on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT/DUI ARREST, BULLHEAD CITY — At about 9 p.m. Oct. 29, police responded to a report of a head-on collision near Hancock Road and Lakeside Drive. One of the drivers, Pablo A. Gonzalez, 48, reportedly showed signs of intoxication. After a DUI investigation, he was cited for DUI, having no valid driver license and failure to control to avoid a collision and released. Gonzalez was taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center for a blood draw. The other driver was taken to WARMC for treatment.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA/RESISTING ARREST, BULLHEAD CITY — At about 11 p.m. Oct. 29, police pulled over Antonio Sanchez Cardenas, 29, in the 1700 block of Forest Drive for traffic violations. Officers learned that he was driving on a suspended license, police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said. Sanchez Cardenas was acting very nervous, she said, and officers found about 6 grams of methamphetamine in his possession. He attempted to flee from police, Fromelt said, dragging an officer about 25 feet. He continued to resist, pull away and refuse commands to stop, she said. Sanchez Cardenas was Tased. While police were dealing with the struggle, Fromelt said, David Cardenas Sanchez, 27, attempted to remove the meth from the vehicle where officers had placed it. Antonio Sanchez Cardenas was arrested on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, escape and driving on a suspended license. David Cardenas Sanchez was arrested on suspicion of hindering prosecution. A passenger in the vehicle, Bailey Alexandra Johnson, 29, was arrested on suspicion of taking the identity of another and false reporting to law enforcement, and on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear for an outstanding California felony warrant for parole violation. Johnson initially identified herself using her sister’s identity, Fromelt said. When police discovered her true name, a check showed the warrants for her arrest. Each was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
