Average price at pumps down 6 cents in Massachusetts

BOSTON (AP) — The average price for gasoline has dropped 6 cents per gallon in the last week in Massachusetts and is now at its lowest level since the start of May.

That’s according to the latest weekly survey released on Monday by AAA Northeast, which found self-serve regular to be averaging $2.58 per gallon.

The average price has fallen 17 cents in the past month and is 7 cents lower than the current national average of $2.65 per gallon.
