Orchids and Onions: Sunday, August 19, 2018

August 19, 2018

Another beautiful day in Havasu...

Orchids to Dynamic Cleaning and Restoration. Your work has always been terrific, but after kids and pets for 13 years, I thought my carpets were worn out. They look as good as new. I’m amazed. L. Hunter

Orchids to informing us that burglars and bad guys work scheduled hours, 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. only. Who knew?

Orchids to Four Clovers. Good food, good service. Onion rings are to die for!

Onions to the man in black slacks and white Sketcher sneakers at the function Saturday night. I asked for a “courtesy flush.” You ignored it. Karma deals with rude people like you. I didn’t see your face, but I’ll definitely remember those shoes!

Orchids to Mike at APC for recovering from your knee surgery. You fought an intense struggle to get well again. Remember, you are a retired Navy veteran hero. Waiting to see you riding your trick bicycle again.

Orchids to Peggy Kendrick at The UPS Store for endearing kindness and expert assistance helping me overnight a package to a neighbor requiring medication while out-of-town dealing with family emergencies. Service with integrity and heart.

Orchids to Hospice of Havasu nurses Sarah, Jeneca, Cheryl, Tammy, Linda, Chu, Lea and all the staff for wonderful care and support during a difficult time. We are lucky to have such an awesome organization. Family of JW Paulson.

Onions to companies that won’t repair a/c. Will only sell you new. Can’t afford new one. Mike at Aaro was the only one that would fix it.

Onions to the company full of liars and dishonest people. Rude and jobs are incomplete. Observe them do the work to keep them honest. Even the receptionist lies to her superiors.

Orchids to my wonderful husband who brought breakfast by my work when I didn’t have time to grab anything for myself. Celebrating 30 years of marriage next month, and still so thoughtful.
