Jordan Horston highlights Lady Vols’ recruiting class
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee has announced the signings of guard Jordan Horston, center Tamari Key and forward/center Emily Saunders.
Horston, a 6-foot-1 guard from Columbus, Ohio, is rated as the nation’s No. 2 prospect in her class by multiple recruiting services. Lady Vols coach Holly Warlick said in a statement that Horston is an “exceptional all-around player” who can contribute at multiple positions.
Key, a top-50 recruit, is a 6-5 center from Cary, North Carolina. Warlick said Key “is going to be a great shot blocker for us and provide a great inside presence at 6-5.”
Saunders, also 6-5, is from Mullens, West Virginia. Warlick said Saunders “uses her size well, protects the basket, works hard and is excited about continuing her development as a player.”
