Indiana man fined for stop in Aurora that turned up 326 pounds of marijuana
A Nebraska judge has fined an Indiana man $9,000 for being caught near Aurora with more than 300 pounds of marijuana.
A Nebraska State Patrol trooper stopped Larry Guieb, of Evansville, for speeding along Nebraska 14 on the afternoon of April 4 and determined there was probable cause to search the 2018 GMC Yukon he was driving.
Inside, the trooper found 326 pounds of marijuana and 1.4 pounds of marijuana edibles, according to court records.
On Friday, Guieb pleaded guilty to attempted delivery of marijuana. Hamilton County District Judge Rachel Daugherty sentenced him to the fine and gave him $150 credit for each of six days he served in jail.
