Police pull body from Winooski River
WINOOSKI, Vt. (AP) — Police in Vermont say a man drowned in the Winooski River over the weekend.
Winooski police say they found 39-year-old Silic Nai’s body late Saturday near the Winooski One Hydro Plant. The body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy, where the cause of death was ruled as an accidental drowning.
Police describe Nai as a transient and say he was identified through fingerprint analysis. Police have not released further information about the investigation.
