Ironton aLive plans spring sale
IRONTON — Ironton aLive will once again be expanding to the old One Main Financial building for its weekend spring sale, set for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, April 5, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 6, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7.
There will be lots of vendors in both buildings, said Sam Heighton, the executive director of Ironton aLive.
The organization plans to share pictures of one-of-a-kind items, such as antiques, primitives, shabby chic items, Pyrex and more.
The sale started with Patricia Coleman, owner of Cardinal Wishes Antiques at 311 Vernon St.
“This is a one-of-a-kind store, and if you haven’t been there you need to check it out,” Heighton said. “I asked Patricia if she world care if the other downtown retailers joined in the sale event. She was delighted, and downtown businesses are excited to take part.”
Cardinal Wishes’ sale days are from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Friday, April 5, and Saturday, April 6. Cardinal Wishes also will have special hours including Sunday, April 7.
“Expect sales, including sidewalk specials, all over the downtown,” Heighton said.
To make room for vendors, Cardinal Wishes will expand to the old One Main Financial building two doors down at 315 Vernon St. for the weekend spring sale.
“We will have lots of vendors in both buildings, with lots of treasures to kick off your spring shopping,” Coleman said. “You don’t want to miss it. You will definitely find something for everyone.
“I think this is a great way to kick off spring shopping in downtown Ironton. Come join the shopping fun and savings.”
